We are taking the current outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously, monitoring and adhering to Government advice daily.
Due to the recent announcement on 16th March 2020, we are postponing the majority of our events until after the Easter break (depending on the specific circumstances of Work Group leads and participants).
If you have any queries about a Maths Hub programme you are currently involved in, please contact us via e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org, or the associated Work Group Lead directly.
Thank you for your understanding.
The Maths Hub Programme brings together maths professionals in a collaborative national network of 37 hubs. The Cheshire and Wirral Maths Hub is led by Our Lady of Pity Primary School and Alsager High School, two Outstanding institutions who work together with schools, colleges and organisations across Wirral, Halton, Cheshire West and Cheshire East. Together we deliver high quality, funded CPD through a programme of projects in order to develop and embed excellent practice, for the benefit of all pupils and students in the broad geographical area that our hub covers.
We are already working with a large number of schools but our goal is to eventually connect and work with every school in the area. We believe that looking after our teachers is the most effective way of ensuring that all our children can enjoy the best possible experience of learning mathematics.
