Embedding Teaching for Mastery
Developing and embedding Teaching for Mastery across a school is not a short-term change; it requires a significant commitment, both in terms of time and CPD, before any changes become thoroughly ingrained within a school. Because of this, once schools have taken part in the ‘Teaching for Mastery Development Programme’ it is expected that they continue to work with a cluster of schools in the following year. The idea is that schools will gradually become more self-sustaining and work together collaboratively with other schools in the area to continue to develop Mastery.
