Maths Professional Development Lead Programme (Secondary & Post-16)

This programme is designed to offer development and support to teachers interested in leading the professional development of other teachers. The year-long programme involves three workshop days, academic reading, designing, planning, running and evaluating a PD programme for other teachers, and reflecting on the whole process of developing as a PD Lead. Participants will undertake to plan, run and evaluate a professional development programme for a group of teachers/ practitioners during the course of the programme. They will record their planning, evaluation and reflection. Successful completion of the programme and its associated paperwork results in NCETM Professional Development Lead accreditation. There is an option to gain 60 Masters Level credits for completing this programme with further, focussed, academic study.
